What is Phytoplankton?
Phytoplankton are microalgae. These are photosynthetic organisms that form the basis of the food webs of marine and freshwater environments and play a key role in the global carbon cycle. They serve as a fundamental food source for many marine inhabitants and provide essential nutrients that promote the well-being of fish and other aquatic organisms. They are rich in proteins, fatty acids, pigments, vitamins, and minerals necessary for the growth and development of marine life.
FAQ
Do I have to add all 3 Phyto variants at the same time? Can I use just one bottle?
We recommend adding all three products to achieve the best effect. The three phytoplankton mixtures are perfectly coordinated.
What happens if I add too much to my aquarium?
It might cause the water to become cloudy, but it is not harmful.
I have deposits in the bottle – is the plankton spoiled?
No, it is normal for the plankton to settle. After gently shaking the bottle, it can be dosed again.
Can I put all 3 bottles into one container and dose them together?
Since the plankton species are selected based on growth rates, we do not recommend mixing them together.
Can I add the Phytos with a dosing pump?
The plankton must be gently shaken before use, so it is not recommended for dosing with a standard dosing pump.

Dosage:
- 1 - 2 ml daily per 100 l of aquarium volume.
- Gently shake PHYTO A, B, C before adding and pour it directly into a well-circulated area of the aquarium.
- The complete nutrition of corals is ensured only by the combination of PHYTO A, B, and C.
Storage:
- Store refrigerated at 4 - 9°C! DO NOT freeze.
Shelf Life:
- When refrigerated, PHYTO A, B, C is durable for about 6 months.
