FMC Premnas biaculatus - Lightning Maroon DNZ Paar
Product information "FMC Premnas biaculatus - Lightning Maroon DNZ Paar"
Premnas biaculeatus – Maroon Clownfish (Color Morph: Lightning Maroon)
Pair from German breeding.
The Maroon Clownfish (Premnas biaculeatus), shown here in the rare color morph "Lightning Maroon," is a striking species of clownfish found in the coral reefs of the western Pacific, particularly around New Guinea and the Philippines. The Lightning morph is characterized by its intense red coloration and a unique pattern of white, lightning-shaped stripes, making it particularly exclusive and highly sought after. This coloration is the result of careful breeding and occurs very rarely in the wild.
This is an especially attractive pair from German breeding, which ensures both their robustness and contributes to the preservation of the species.
Aquarium care: Premnas biaculeatus is a territorial fish that tends to stay close to its host anemone. Suitable anemones are primarily those from the genus Entacmaea (bubble-tip anemone). The aquarium should have a minimum volume of 300 liters to provide sufficient space for the pair and the anemone. This species prefers stable, well-filtered water and a varied diet. The pair should ideally be kept without other clownfish species to avoid aggression.

Important for the care of corals and fish
is the constant maintenance of salinity, as well as the use of a good sea salt, such as the Fauna Marin Professional Sea Salt.
The salinity should always be between 34/35 per mille, respectively 1.022 and 1.024 density. Regular checking of the density is an absolute must in marine aquaristics.
