Product information "FMC Gobiodon Citrinus - Zitronengrundel"
Gobiodon citrinus – Citron Goby
The Lemon Coralgoby (Gobiodon citrinus) is a striking small reef dweller found in the coral reefs of the Indo-Pacific, particularly around Australia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. It is known for its vibrant yellow coloration and fine blue lines, giving it a distinctive appearance. Gobiodon citrinus prefers living in close symbiosis with hard corals, especially species of the genus Acropora. It protects the corals from predators by making them unappealing through its secretions.
The Citron Goby is an excellent choice for smaller reef aquariums, as it does not require much swimming space but does depend on stable water parameters and a suitable habitat. Due to its territorial nature, it should be housed with peaceful tankmates.

Important for the care of corals and fish
is the constant maintenance of salinity, as well as the use of a good sea salt, such as the Fauna Marin Professional Sea Salt.
The salinity should always be between 34/35 per mille, respectively 1.022 and 1.024 density. Regular checking of the density is an absolute must in marine aquaristics.
