Engina mendicaria - Bumblebee Snail
Engina mendicaria is primarily nocturnal. The shell has a white or yellowish background with some horizontally running black stripes, resembling the yellow-black pattern of some bumblebees, which is why it is called the Bumblebee Snail.
These carnivorous marine snails live on rocky shores and sandy bottoms and are quite common in their distribution area.
In aquariums, they can live for 5-6 years.
